For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed working with children. From my high school days doing a two year co-op at a childcare centre, to coaching recreational and competitive gymnastics in my teenage years and all through my 20’s. Teaching and nurturing children, in all aspects of life, will always be very fulfilling to me.
I had always wanted to be a Mother, so I decided to retire from coaching to stay at home and raise my two very active and adventurous boys! All through their younger years, I ran a very successful before and after school childcare out of my home. As well as doing lunchtime supervision of children with special needs, which I loved and found very rewarding in itself. Now I loved being a stay at home mom, but when both my boys were in high school, I decided it was time to pursue my passion of teaching. Better late than never!
I felt so fortunate to be accepted into the Nottinghill community. The families have always been so welcoming, the children bring me such joy everyday and the teachers are an amazing group of women, inside and outside the classroom. I truly feel so blessed to be able to spend my days with the Nottinghill family.
