Meet Our Teachers

Nottinghill Co-operative Preschool is very fortunate to have wonderfully knowledgeable teachers with never-ending energy and an interest in every child’s learning progression.

Cathy Andersen-Boroway is an Early Childhood Educator with more than 26 years of teaching experience.  Prior to Nottinghill, she held the Assistant Supervisor/Teacher role for eight years at Walmer Road Day Nursery in Toronto and the Supervisor/Teacher position for 8 years at St. Aidan’s Co-op Nursery School in Oakville.  She is currently in her 11th year at Nottinghill Co-op Preschool.

Miss Cathy, as she is known by her students, has been teaching children through the ages two to Senior Kindergarten. At Nottinghill, she has developed a J.K. program with particular emphasis on language development allowing the children to work at their own level and exceed the J.K. expectations.  She sees to it that the children thrive in a family-like setting developing self-confidence and acceptance for others. With positive reinforcement and praise the children develop a zest for school and for learning.  All children in her care are treated with respect, love and individuality.
