And thank you for visiting our web site. At Nottinghill Co-operative Preschool we’re extremely proud of our heritage and our nurturing preschool environment.
We were founded in 1961 as Oakville’s first co-operative preschool. As a co-operative preschool we are a non-profit corporation owned and operated by our members – parents and guardians of the children registered in the school.
As a result, our co-operative school philosophy encourages all parents and guardians to be involved in their child’s preschool experience. Every day, we strive to provide the time, the place and the people to meet our students’ need for love, understanding, relationships, responsibility, learning and creativity.
Using a hands-on approach, our understanding Early Childhood Educators provide love and encouragement in a learning-through-play program. Creativity, problem solving and conflict resolution are our teachers greatest objectives.
We are a progressive school that offers programming for children from age 2 right through Senior Kindergarten. At Nottinghill you will find:

- Gym facilities for programs like Dash Sports and Creative Movement which are provided at no cost to students throughout the year

- Toilet training is not mandatory.
